Prime and composite numbers

A great hands on activity for older students which allows them to sort and glue Prime and Composite numbers.  These can either be used as a teaching tool, independent activity or as a post assessment piece.

This resource contains:

• 3 activity pages that need to be used together
• 2 activity pages give an explanation, a space to paste answers, a related joke and a matching picture to colour.
• The third activity page gives an explanation on the task and the numbers to use.
• 1 answer page for self marking

How do students use this resource:

• Print all 3 activity pages for each student. Students cut and paste the numbers onto the correct page. They will need to work out whether the number is prime or composite as they go.
