Working on whole numbers and place value concepts is easy with this printable booklet. They are required to understand concepts before completing each page. This resource has been designed with Year 4 and 5 students in mind and refers to related areas of their curriculum. This does not limit it’s use with other year levels. Great for rotations, individual work, small groups, consolidation or assessment.
Place Value skills need to be revisited regularly, this booklet makes it easy to do! Simply choose the pages you want for each student, photocopy, cut vertically, sort pages and staple or bind together.
Select the pages you require for students to complete according to Year or skill level. Please note the pages that are specific to Year 5 - 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18. These pages may contain elements of the Year 4 curriculum.
What this resource includes:
- A total of 19 A4 pages covering expanded notation, partitioning, written words, rounding, estimation and identifying place value (please see examples)
This creates a 36 page booklet when A4 pages are cut vertically. Included are a title page and 3 pages for journal writing. You may want to include more pages for journal writing. In this case make as many copies of page 2 as you deem necessary. This resource is recommended for use in Years 4 and 5 but may be used in other grades for revision or extension of skills. Year levels referred to relate to the Australian Curriculum. Prints to A4 paper, please check your printer settings before printing class sets.
