Photo writing prompts

This collection contains both information report and narrative based writing prompts with some specific focus on grammar use. Each writing task will promote thinking and creativity as it is based around an original photo. Tasks ask students to either explain what they think the photographer was thinking about when they were taking the photograph or to share their own thoughts about the photo.

What this resource contains:

· 12 pages - 6 narrative and 6 information report

How is this resource used:

After writing about the photograph, students create a list of nouns or verbs along with adjectives for each photo to begin their thought process and to use as a word bank. They then write a short and precise narrative or report based piece of writing.

These pages are not editable and are great for older students as there are no cutesy pictures!
