Number mobiles, sorts and other activities

Number concepts can be tricky and these versatile number discs are an effective way to practice odd/even, place value and categories.  They can be used in lots of different ways depending on the age of your students and what you would like them to practice. This resource contains:

• 36 pages (2 images per page)
• 20 numbers with either one or two digits
• 20 numbers with either three or four digits
• 20 numbers of five digits or more
• 1 page of odd and even headers
• 4 pages for number of digit headers
• 2 pages to fill in your own larger/small more/less headers

How can I use this resource: Number sorts

• lowest to highest
• group in place value (every number with a 8 in the tens, 5 in the ones etc.)
• odd and even
• numbers greater than 50, lower than 11 etc.
• classify by number of digits

Odd and Even mobile

• match a number with either odd or even, paste together and display in groups (print one copy of numbers and as many odd/even pages as you need). It is recommended to reduce or print these to ‘2 pages’ per page.

Number match

• Laminate the discs and cut each in half (digits on one side, words on the other). Students match the halves.
