Feedback, self assessment and reflection

A Growth Mindset, accepting feedback and reflection are an important part of a student’s learning process, self assessment and growth. It is necessary for children to be able to accept feedback, self assess and recognise areas where improvement can be made; this resource has been designed with that in mind and allows both teachers and students to use a similar layout when giving and receiving their personal feedback. Makes a great exit slip or to use for goal setting!

This resource contains:

2 posters for display and referencing

- Teacher feedback poster (colour and black/white versions). 3 emoji picture indicators with corresponding text - ‘You’ve got this’, ‘You are almost there’ and ‘You will get there’.

- Teacher feedback slip (colour and black/white versions, 4 to a page). Easy to use as it shows a ‘rating’ scale of how students are doing. Identical indicators to the teacher poster however these slips also have has space for a comment. Emoji faces can be coloured in, highlighted or circled by the teacher to indicate where students are currently with the task.

4 different feedback slips including those with writing about the feedback (advice or information on this feedback provided) and those that only show the emoji which can be coloured, circled or a peg placed on them. Please check thumbnails and previews.
