David Attenborough English unit
This unit is designed to use over several weeks and has a suggested timeline on the contents page. Teacher notes included on each page with suggested ideas and answers are included if needed. These lessons are oral based and presented in a non-editable PowerPoint format. Additional worksheets are supplied if you wish to make any of the lessons written or send home as homework tasks.
This English unit of learning is centred around the scientist and naturalist David Attenborough. Using the ‘Little People, Big Dreams’ book series as a base, students explore morphology and syntax through word and sentence structure, tier 2 vocabulary, text comprehension answering questions and by looking at the identifying main idea and supporting details, and punctuation with comma usage. It makes the perfect introduction and review lesson.
